BLACK BAYOU LAKE
Located to the east of Egret Landing the Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge is one of five managed refuges in the North Louisiana Refuges Complex. Thanks to “Friends of Black Bayou” a beautiful learning center and nature trail, large observation deck, photo blind and boat launch are just some of the great facilities that make Black Bayou great.
BAYOU DESIARD
Slowly curling through The City of Monroe, Bayou DeSiard is a landmark of sorts, a quintessential Louisiana bayou. Home to the nationally acclaimed ULM waterski team it also serves as a refuge to many species of fish and birdlife.

Egret Landing is just minutes from Downtown Monroe with its delightful restaurants and famous art crawls. Easy access to I-20 and Hwy165 means everything is within reach.
